Marrakech has long been a playground for the rich and famous of Europe. One such person was the famous fashion design Yves Saint Laurent, who bought and restored a gardens just outside the city. The beautiful gardens was painted with the famous Majorelle blue, an intensely blue hue. In one of the many ponds in the garden, I snapped a photo of turtles sunbathing on this iconic blue.
