Philae temple is situated on an idylic island in the mighty and historic Nile. Drifting up by boat, you are greeted by the large pylons of the temple, and the statues of imposing lions guarding the entrance. After some wandering of the complex, I noticed five friends sat in the courtyard, enjoying a warm cup of tea in the waning light. Surrounded by ancient history, I snapped a frame.
