The rain was pouring down as we made our way across some choppy water on one of the large, interconnected lakes. Putting the compass on the floor of the canoe, I could navigate using the map through the expansive wilderness. I lined the camera up to the compass and snapped the shutter just as we were rocked by a big wave, blurring the photo. I lined it up again and took this un-blurred photo.
