I took the long overnight sleeper train down from Cairo to Aswan, in the South of Egypt. The ride was long and incredibly rough, throwing me around the bed. After arriving in Aswan, I got a cab to where the boats leave for Philae temple. A dozen or more boat drivers rushed up to me to entice me to their boats. After some haggling, I managed to get a boat to the Island where Philae is situated.
