It is hard to describe in words the grandeur of the Medersa Ben Youssef in Marrakech. The excessively intricate plasterwork the wood carving, and of course the intricate Zellij, the art of laying complex, colorful tile designs. With so much to see, one forgets to look up, seeing the painting on the ceiling and the beautiful brass lamps.
