I was struck by the immensity and complexity of the stone columns, and the beauty of the afternoon sun shining through the intricate stained glass that adored the walls of the great basilica. While exploring, I came across a spot where the column seemed to split the great hall by color, the inviting blue hues separated from the hell like reds.
