The imposing power that the massive columns of Edfu Temple radiated stuck awe into me as I strolled around the structure. The temple was erected in the honor of the Egyptian god Horus in the second century BC, and was lost to history until the middle of the nineteenth century. This allowed the temple to be preserved throughout time. I snapped this photo of the impressive columns of the amazing temple.
