The incredible intricate old church bell made a perfect subject for the photograph, with the svan towers in the background. Taking care to set the aperture so the depth of field was shallow enough to accentuate the bell but deep enough to make out the ancient buildings in the background, I spent a minute setting up the shot before the shutter clicked.
