My guide, Kennedy, is a banana farmer and cattle herder in the off season when he is not guiding climbers up the mountain. Living in the surrounding village, he lives a peaceful life with his wife and his three children on his farm. During this season, it had been very slow and he was thankful I showed up in Chogoria. On the trek up to the summit push, I snapped this photo of Kennedy.
