The keyhole is the boundary between the non technical approach and the beginning of the rest of the technical climbing on Longs Peak. The climb was plagued by extremely high winds which turned many people back from the summit. While taking a break in the shelter at the keyhole, I assessed the situation, and snapped a picture out of the doorway of the shelter. A little while later, I continued to the summit of the mountain.
